Job summary

SATS Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Governance Engineer to design and operate governance, data quality, and master data management capabilities across the enterprise data platform.

You will partner with the Data & AI team to translate policies into working controls, catalog data, and ensure data quality across pipelines. The role emphasizes automation, governance maturity, and scalable data practices in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6+ years hands-on experience across Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management or data engineering with a governance focus.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for profiling, rule development, tooling and automation.
• Experience with entity resolution / record linkage and match/merge pipelines is a strong advantage.
• Experience administering governance data catalogues such as DataHub or Purview.
• Knowledge of data contracts, data lineage and CI/CD-based delivery on a modern cloud data platform.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders across business and technology teams in a global or regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Data Governance, Master Data Management and Data Quality capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Data & AI team to translate policies into working systems and controls.
• Administer governance platforms and automate governance processes.
• Build and maintain data catalogue, metadata and data lineage solutions.
• Develop data quality rules, scorecards and remediation workflows across domains.
• Deliver governance runbooks and enable data owners and stewards to self-serve.
