Job summary

OCBC invites aspiring data engineers to join as a Data Engineering Intern in Singapore. You will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives, leveraging modern data platforms, automation, and AI-powered solutions while learning from seasoned technology professionals.

You will work with engineers and stakeholders to understand challenges, contribute to data pipelines, ensure data quality, and help deliver data-driven business solutions in a bank environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/Data Science/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in data engineering, data analytics, automation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise data engineering initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and innovation.
• Assist in development, enhancement, and maintenance of data pipelines and platforms.
• Support data preparation, integration, and validation to ensure data quality.
• Contribute to data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist in exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions to address business challenges.
• Collaborate with tech and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide support on other projects and tasks as assigned.
