Job summary

HP invites a College Intern - Data Engineering & AI to join our Singapore team. You will develop and revamp manufacturing data products, design data pipelines, and analyze operations to drive efficiency.

You will pilot Generative AI use cases in factory operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document data models and use cases for scalable adoption. Must be pursuing a degree and commit for 5-6 months starting January 2027.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, CS, Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Basic knowledge of data analytics, database concepts, and programming languages such as Python or SQL.

Responsibilities

Develop and revamp Manufacturing Operations data products using Level 3 data where applicable.
Design, build, and maintain standardized data pipelines to improve data enablement, reporting efficiency, and process automation.
Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and insights.
Pilot, develop, and evaluate Generative AI use cases within factory operations, including automated operational reporting and AI-generated anomaly detection narratives.
Support the implementation and validation of AI-driven solutions to improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, gather data needs, and deliver scalable solutions.
Document data models, processes, and AI use cases to ensure knowledge sharing and sustainable adoption.
Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to stakeholders.
