Job summary

SEED System Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales strategy and business development across assigned industry segments and customer accounts. You will collaborate with internal Solution teams and external partners to craft cost-effective turnkey solutions and prepare technical bid proposals.

The role requires understanding customer requirements, growing the sales pipeline, and delivering high customer satisfaction through technically sound proposals and knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent; fresh graduates welcome.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Data Centre / Engineering & Building Services Industry preferred.
• Self-driven with initiative and fast learner.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, colleagues and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Main focus on sales strategy planning and business development to meet/exceed annual sales targets.
• Support technical queries from end users, consultants and partners.
• Articulate technology and product positioning to business and technical users via presentations or bid proposals.
• Work with Solution team on design and guide specifications for consultants, integrators and customers.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs with cost and solution analyses to ensure bid competitiveness.
• Develop opportunities from assigned industries and customer segments.
• Act as single point of contact for assigned customer accounts and manage requirements and feedback.
• Coordinate with solution/project teams to deliver projects on time, satisfactorily and in compliance with contracts and regulations.
• Resolve issues in line with company mission and objectives.
• Identify customer needs and sales opportunities from leads for future growth.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with customers.
• Weekly update of Sales CRM, sales gap and forecast report.
