Job summary

MTS Global Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager in Singapore to drive delivery of data centre infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with client stakeholders, site operations teams, contractors, vendors and internal technical teams to ensure smooth execution in live environments.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years in data centre project delivery and proven capability across structured cabling, fibre deployment and rack/stack coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of data centre infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, data centre operations, vendors and internal teams.
• Oversee activities related to cabling, fibre, rack/stack, equipment installation and network infrastructure.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, risk registers, issue logs and status reports.
• Monitor progress, dependencies, site constraints and risks; escalate and resolve.
• Manage change control in live data centre environments to minimize disruption.
• Ensure vendors/contractors deliver per scope, timelines and safety standards.
• Coordinate permit-to-work, site access, security clearance and maintenance windows.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to management and clients.
• Support testing, commissioning, cutover, migration and post-implementation follow-up.

Job Title: Data Centre Project Manager
Location: Singapore
Employment Type: 12-month renewable contract
Salary Range: SGD 8,000 – 10,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to support data centre infrastructure delivery projects in Singapore. The role will be responsible for managing project execution within live data centre environments, coordinating with client stakeholders, site operations teams, contractors, vendors and internal technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.

The ideal candidate should have experience in data centre project delivery, structured cabling, fibre deployment, rack/stack coordination, infrastructure rollout, site readiness, change control and vendor/contractor management. Experience working in high-security, live or zero-downtime environments will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of data centre infrastructure projects, from planning, site coordination and execution through testing, handover and closure.

Coordinate with client stakeholders, teams, data centre operations, vendors, contractors, consultants and internal technical teams.

Oversee project activities related to structured cabling, fibre deployment, rack/stack, equipment installation, network infrastructure, site readiness and related data centre works.

Prepare and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, risk registers, issue logs, status reports and project documentation.

Monitor project progress, dependencies, site constraints and risks, and drive timely escalation and resolution.

Manage change control activities in live data centre environments to ensure minimal disruption to production operations.

Ensure vendors and contractors deliver according to agreed scope, timeline, quality, safety and operational requirements.

Coordinate permit-to-work, site access, security clearance, maintenance windows and data centre operational procedures where required.

Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to internal management, client stakeholders and project teams.

Support testing, commissioning, cutover, migration, handover documentation and post-implementation follow-up.

Ensure compliance with data centre safety, security, EHS/WSH, access control and operational standards.

Requirements

Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience, preferably within data centre, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, network infrastructure, structured cabling or mission-critical environments.

Hands-on experience managing projects in live data centre environments is highly preferred.

Experience with structured cabling, fibre deployment, rack/stack, network infrastructure rollout, site readiness and contractor/vendor coordination.

Good understanding of data centre operations, change control, access control, permit-to-work, safety and security requirements.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across clients, vendors, contractors, site operations and technical teams.

Strong planning, reporting, risk management, escalation management and documentation skills.

Able to work independently and drive delivery in a fast-paced, high-security environment.

Good communication skills and comfortable presenting project updates to management and client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CDCP, WSH, fibre/cabling or related certification will be advantageous.

Prior experience supporting data centre operators, system integrators, telecommunications providers or enterprise infrastructure projects.

Experience with clients or environments such as Digital Realty, Equinix, STT, Global Switch, Singtel, NetLink Trust, financial institutions or hyperscale data centres will be an advantage.
