Job summary

The role emphasizes technical advisory, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in mechanical systems, with strong emphasis on collaboration via Google Workspace, BIM360, and 3Dx platforms. On-site client engagement is expected.

Qualifications

• Performs comprehensive mechanical engineering design, review, and assurance services for project lifecycles.
• Ensures compliance with client standards and guidelines across design stages.
• Provides technical input, guidance, and critical review during design.
• Advocates for cost efficiency, reliability, and energy performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and standardize mechanical engineering packages and specs.
• Review mechanical drawings and design documents for quality and coordination.
• Lead QA/QC peer reviews using standard checklists and trackers.
• Coordinate with client consultants and contractors during design meetings.
• Identify and document design improvements and opportunities for cost/time savings.
• Manage defect rectifications and final inspections on mechanical systems.
• Maintain trackers of issues, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Provide clear direction to partners on path forward.
