Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to ensure high availability, efficiency, and reliability of all mechanical systems in a mission-critical data centre in Singapore.

You will lead maintenance, set engineering standards, review designs, and drive cooling capacity planning, redundancy and safety compliance across AHUs, chillers, pumps, and fuel systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale HVAC/Mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, thermal management, and mechanical redundancy design.
• Excellent communication and detailed technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary mechanical authority for data centre systems and performance.
• Lead maintenance, RCA investigations, and system upgrades.
• Review designs, drawings, and operating procedures to ensure safety and uptime.
• Support thermal load studies and redundancy planning.
• Document and report on equipment performance and energy efficiency.
