Job summary

STTGDC, a Singapore-based data centre provider, seeks a Lead, Data Centre Engineering Support (DCES) to drive cost efficiency, optimize energy and water use, and ensure compliance with global standards across Singapore operations.

The role requires a Diploma in M&E/Facilities Management and at least 3 years in critical facilities management within a 24x7 data centre environment, with strong MEP knowledge and certification leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in managing critical facilities development or operations in a 24x7 data centre environment.
• Strong knowledge in MEP operations and building facilities systems (switchgears, UPS, generators, CRAUs, chiller plants).
• Experience leading certification programs (ANSI/TIA-942, Uptime, BCA-IMDA Green Mark for Data Centres, SS 564, LEED and ISO).
• Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL or related) are preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to work independently and under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Mechanical, Electrical, BMS, and security systems for Singapore Data Centre operations.
• Champion Problem Management and act as rotating duty Incident Manager per ITIL.
• Drive energy audits, optimisation programmes, and financial evaluation of energy efficiency measures.
• Oversee procurement of technical services and manage service agreements and renewals.
• Act as program manager for technical certification programmes (ANSI/TIA-942, GreenMark, ISO).
• Collaborate with Technology & Project Delivery to enhance maintainability and build quality.
• Develop, review, and validate technical policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
