Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead for data centre facilities management to supervise on-site technicians, coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to the client’s operations.

The role requires strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, CMMS/BMS experience, ability to manage permits to work, and a proactive, safety‑focused approach.

You will work a 12-hour rotating shift (4 on, 4 off) and collaborate with vendors to support maintenance and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted electrical or trade qualifications with strong preference for A Grade Electricians.
• Experience in building services and critical environments.
• Familiarity with CMMS and BMS systems.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ad hoc maintenance, fire, mechanical and electrical support while ensuring business continuity.
• Supervise on-site technicians and vendors; mentor staff for performance.
• Manage shift rosters and ensure full site coverage.
• Raise and sign off permits; coordinate with work streams to optimize schedules.
• Conduct inspections, reviews, risk assessments and report improvements.
