Job summary

REGIONAL ENERGY PTE. LTD. is overseeing a data center construction project in Japan. The role requires leading the end-to-end delivery from design through commissioning and handover, coordinating between the international client team and Japanese contractors, consultants and authorities.

The successful candidate will manage schedule, budget, quality and safety with emphasis on risk mitigation and regulatory approvals, while reporting to the Project Director in English and Japanese.

Qualifications

• Degree required in civil, architectural, mechanical or electrical engineering or construction management.
• 10+ years in construction project management, 5+ years on data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience delivering projects in Japan and familiarity with local codes and acts.

Responsibilities

• Build and own integrated project schedule, track critical path and long-lead equipment.
• Lead design reviews, RFIs, submittals and ensure BIM coordination and clash resolution.
• Manage general contractor and subcontractors, ensure contract compliance and safety.
• Report progress on schedule, cost, safety, quality and risks in weekly/monthly cycles.
• Oversee permits, authorities engagement, and handover to operations.
