Job summary

HCLTech in Singapore seeks a Data Centre Operations professional to monitor critical infra, perform environmental checks, and support IT and facility activities. You will handle security, incident response, documentation, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires 4+ years in data/IT facilities, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication, with shift-based availability to respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Centre Operations, IT Operations, or Facilities Management.
• Understanding of critical infrastructure systems, IT operations, and security controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a shift-based environment and respond to operational incidents when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform environmental monitoring checks (temperature, humidity, and water leakage).
• Support facility maintenance, equipment installation, and cable management activities.
• Manage physical security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management.
• Monitor IT systems and perform basic troubleshooting, system administration, and user access management.
• Support incident response, service requests, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, operational logs, and reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
