Job summary

DayOne is seeking a proactive Facilities Operations professional to oversee daily data centre functions and ensure seamless operations in a dynamic environment. You will coordinate with internal teams and vendors to manage maintenance, space allocation, and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year in facilities management or building services, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities management / engineering / building services. Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures will be an advantage.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily data centre facility operations and ensure systems run smoothly.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with internal teams and vendors.
• Manage space allocation and optimize data centre layouts.
• Liaise with vendors for service agreements and monitor performance.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and conduct safety inspections.
• Implement energy-saving and sustainability practices.
• Prepare facility performance reports and maintain records.
• Assist in policies, procurement, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support staff data management and training plans.
