Job summary

Keppel (Infrastructure Division) is seeking a Customer Service professional to support data center operations in Singapore. The role emphasizes maintaining uptime for critical M&E systems, handling daily walkthroughs, and coordinating with subcontractors within the CE domain.

You will monitor alarms, manage environmental checks, and ensure safety policies are followed while communicating escalations and updates to the Operation Lead and Manager. Shift work and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifications

• ITE/Nitec/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center.
• Experience with control equipment, PLCs, building management systems and data center integration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; SharePoint preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English, 3–5+ years in data center/critical environment.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relations with internal and external clients.
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency calls during shift work.
• Support daily DC operations and preventive maintenance for 100% uptime of critical M&E systems.
• Record faults, inspect M&E equipment, and report issues with escalation as needed.
• Monitor FOC, alarms (EPMS, BMS, Fire), and contain faults with timely updates.
• Perform daily checklists and ensure all critical systems are in proper condition.
• Induct subcontractors, review MSDS and risk assessments for safety compliance.
• Maintain logs of instrument readings, stock levels, and incident reports.
• Handover to Shift Duty Technician with outstanding issues; file incidents and reports.
