Job summary

DAYONE DATA CENTERS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Facilities Engineer to support the Critical Services and Building Services teams, gaining exposure to the full range of datacentre operations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in facilities/engineering/building services.
• Knowledge of data centre MEP infrastructure, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of all MEP systems in data centres.
• Ensure safety policies and compliance with building codes and EH&S regulations.
• Coordinate with shift teams for 24/7 coverage and smooth handovers.
• Plan and oversee maintenance and upgrade projects with vendors.
• Evaluate operations and gather data to improve efficiency.
