Job summary

1-Net Singapore Pte Ltd is actively seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee daily operations of its carrier-neutral data centers. The role involves maintaining critical systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating with external contractors for project work.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree, have strong communication skills, and be prepared for 24x7 rotating shifts. Experience in data center facilities management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree graduates in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Willingness to commit to 24x7 rotating shift duty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the required daily maintenance and operations of the data center facilities to ensure serviceability of all active and redundancy equipment.
• Respond to Mechanical and Electrical alarms/faults, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Respond to Building Management System (BMS)/Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) alerts, provide feedback on issues, and be on standby as required.
• Support Data Center projects and alterations, coordinate with external contractors and testing within timelines.
• Attend to customer requests and deliveries such as installations and coordination with design, construction, and operations requirements for move-ins and turn-ons.
