Job summary

DBS Bank is seeking a Data Governance professional in Singapore to develop and maintain data governance standards and enable enterprise data management across the end-to-end data lifecycle. The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science).
• Strong experience defining and operationalising enterprise data management frameworks and controls (data quality, metadata, lineage).
• Understanding of data risk management and data governance regulations.
• Experience with enterprise data governance tooling and AI capabilities to scale governance practices.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence outcomes.
• Ability to present complex topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Foster data accountability mindset and data literacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain data management standards and frameworks across the end-to-end data lifecycle.
• Create playbooks and learning materials; establish tooling to enable units to implement data governance at scale.
• Operationalise the enterprise data governance operating model across units and locations.
• Track data governance outcomes, risks and dependencies.
• Act as Data Champion for data owned by the Transformation & Data department.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory/industry initiatives related to data and AI governance.
• Coordinate responses to data governance reviews and audits with stakeholders.
