Job summary

CFGI, a dynamic financial consulting firm, is expanding its Data & AI practice across Asia-Pacific and seeking a hands-on Manager to lead client engagements and support business development in either India or Japan market.

You will oversee day-to-day engagement delivery, mentor junior professionals, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and help identify and shape new opportunities while aligning with CFGI’s accelerators and platforms for local-market needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, advanced analytics, applied AI, ML, analytics consulting, and/or technology consulting.
• Hands-on delivery of data or AI solutions from requirements and solution design through implementation, with depth in AI engineering, data-platform engineering, or analytics.
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams, managing project deliverables, and mentoring junior professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to support either the India or Japan market, including language capability needed to deliver client work and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data & AI engagements involving data pipelines, analytics, AI, ML, dashboards, automation, and governance.
• Design, develop, and implement data platforms and AI solutions, including predictive models and AI applications.
• Lead AI readiness assessments, use-case identification, roadmaps, governance, and managed-services engagements.
• Partner with CFOs/CTOs and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Own day-to-day client relationships, facilitate sessions, and present technical recommendations to executives.
