Job summary

Deutsche Bank seeks an experienced senior platform engineer to join the DAP Middleware Platform team. You will build, configure, operate and support middleware services across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring secure and governed platform solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response and cross-team collaboration. Ideal candidates have 11+ years at AVP level, with strong Splunk/log analytics, Python/Perl scripting, and knowledge of Tomcat/JBoss/WebLogic.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience with AVP level responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in Splunk, log analytics, and scripting.
• Hands-on scripting in Python and Perl with automation focus.
• Knowledge of MariaDB/Oracle and middleware platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, operate and support DAP Middleware and PaaS platform services across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Provide production support including incidents, changes, problems and service requests.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering and application teams to deliver secure platform solutions.
• Support migration activities, storage validation and platform readiness checks.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and improve operational tooling.
