Job summary

D L RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking an experienced technical lead to work with BA, infra, deployments and vendor teams in Singapore. You will drive architectural decisions, build configuration frameworks, and ensure quality outcomes across the platform.

The role requires hands-on expertise across AIX/RedHat, Java, JSON/XML, and a DevOps/tooling stack. You will lead multi-vendor teams and implement secure, scalable solutions with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree with 8-10 years of current, hands-on technical experience.
• Solid understanding of AIX or RedHat OS and scripting.
• Expertise in Java, JSON, XML and enterprise middleware.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of banking tech, security and data protection is preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the BA, infra, deployments and vendor teams.
• Use and manage vendor augmented resources and ensure work assignments for high utilization and effective, quality outcomes while avoiding re-work
• Drive technical innovation to enhance functional and technical capabilities of the platform
• Build frameworks for configuration instead of code for each component
• Communicate with technical and non-technical resources and work with limited direction while being highly productive
• Apply standards and industry frameworks while leverage existing technologies and tools in the Bank
• Implement solutions considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
• Produce detailed design /low level design documents that communicate the system design effectively
• Drive adherence to development, configuration management and deployment standards for solutions
• Analyse performance test, vulnerability assessments and any other test related issues that arise during projects
• Manage, address and resolve project-related technical issues in a timely fashion, ensuring necessary escalation and communication to stakeholders as necessary
• Select, train, develop and manage technical team members in a conducive team environment
• Lead multi-vendor teams to successfully deliver solutions
• Guide the project team in issue resolution to meet the requirements and timelines

Requirements:

Education

• Degree with 8-10 years of current, hands on technical experience

• AIX O/S and/or RedHat platform and scripting skills
• Java and internet-related components (i.e: JSON, XML)
• iPlanet, WebSphere, WebLogic, Database, Sql
• DevOps suite of products (i.e: Jenkins, GitHub, Sonar, Aldon, etc)
• Connect Direct, SFTP, basic UNIX commands
• Perf tuning and automation in general

• Working knowledge of microservice implementation, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Kafka.
• Experience of complete software development lifecycles – waterfall and agile project experience
• General understanding of banking and knowledge and application of banking technology and regulations/compliance
• Understanding of data security, privacy, data protection, regulatory and compliance procedures
• Strong oral communication and writing skills
• Strong team building, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Passionate and results orientated
