Job summary

Envoy Search Partners Pte Limited is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive presales engagements and deliver robust cybersecurity solutions for enterprise clients in Singapore. You will collaborate with sales and presales teams, articulate security landscapes and architectural models, and act as a trusted advisor to client senior teams.

The role requires a decade of experience in holistic security design, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of security by design

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in presales engagements for deals meeting outcomes.
• Work in a project-based, client-facing model.
• Prepare and deliver business value solutions, including proposals and POC demonstrations when needed.
• Translate complex enterprise requirements into comprehensive security solutions.
• Advise on risks and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review architecture designs during presales and handover stages and identify mitigations.

You have at least a decade of experience in holistic design for security, network and system solutions with at least six (6) years of experience in designing, implementing and testing system security architecture.

You have executed at least one (1) full project lifecycle in assessing / managing risks, deviations and non-compliances, as well as supporting security acceptance tests and assessments.

As aSolutionArchitect, you need to develop good working relationship with the sales and presales team and work on sales opportunities and driving them to closure. You are required to assist the sales team to deliver the required results. As a Solution Architect, you are also expected to be the technology and solution advisor with sound knowledge in the cybersecurity domain.

The Solution Architect should be versant to articulate security landscape, architectural models and solutions credibly, and possess the ability to discuss and present to senior members of a client team.

Solution Architect should also be versant in solution design methodologies and security by design guideline (e.g. Best Practices type of approaches) and have the ability to generate high quality artifacts such as requirements artifacts, high level and detailed designs.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead / Participate in Presales engagement in deals matching outcomes to expectations.
• Comfortable working in a project based / client serving model.
• Prepare and deliver the business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conduct, proof-of-concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary.
• Demonstrate ability to convert complex enterprise requirements to a comprehensive security solution.
• Ability to lead and shape client expectations
• Evaluate the security technology and solutions in complying to security policies, best practices, guidelines and regulatory requirements, to identify gaps and recommend mitigations.
• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risks where multiple solutions exist.

• Review / Assess the architecture design during presales stage/ handover, identify gaps and recommend solutions mitigations where applicable.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years of working experience with in-depth knowledge of pre-sales solutioning and is in abreast with evolving technology capabilities.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner.
• Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives.
• Work independently without any guidance, demonstrate positive working attitude, quick adaptability and embracing new changes.
• Provide guidance where necessary.
• History of creating rapport with customers at all levels.
• Familiar with Defense / Government guidelines preferred.
• Possess relevant professional certification like CISSP, CCIE would be an added advantage.
• Cybersecurity domains such as SIEM, SOAR, Security Analytics Platform, Threat Intel Platform, Deception, EDR, NTA, NDR, NGFW firewalls, Web Security and Email Security are preferred.
