Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to implement, configure, and support security solutions on-site for diverse customer environments. You will install, upgrade, and troubleshoot security platforms while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

With 3+ years of relevant experience, you will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with senior specialists on complex engagements to ensure successful deployments and ongoing operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of cybersecurity technologies and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco), SIEM (Splunk), Cloud Security (Azure/AWS), PAM, and Zero Trust.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer-facing communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support cybersecurity solutions within customer environments.
• Perform installation, integration, upgrades, and break-fix activities for security platforms and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve low-to-medium complexity technical issues during project delivery and operational support.
• Escalate complex problems to senior engineers, vendors, or technology specialists when required.
• Assist with system documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer during operational handover.
• Support security monitoring, vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance initiatives.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment of solutions.
• Maintain project administration activities such as time tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder updates.
