Job summary

Synapxe invites final-year diploma students to join their Cyber Operations & Technologies team in Singapore as interns. You will gain hands-on experience in security services, analyze data, and contribute to automation initiatives while supporting service improvement projects.

You will assist in security operations, analytics, dashboards, and reporting, delivering practical solutions under guidance. This paid internship offers exposure to real-world health tech security operations.

Qualifications

• Final-year diploma student pursuing Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network Security, Cloud Computing, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity, networking, or IT infrastructure concepts.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Interest in cybersecurity operations, data analytics, and process improvement.
• Exposure to Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or other scripting languages is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Security Operations & Service Support.
• Support daily operations of web and data security services.
• Assist in request triage, operational tracking, and documentation updates.
• Analyse alerts, service requests, and operational data under guidance from the team.
• Analytics & Process Improvement: identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.
• Support reporting, dashboard development, and operational analytics activities.
• Participate in service enhancement and project initiatives.
• Automation & Innovation: design and develop a small automation, reporting, or dashboard solution to address an operational need.
• Support testing, validation, and documentation activities.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Delivery: participate in requirements gathering, project coordination, and solution testing.
• Prepare a final project report, presentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
