Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking an Attack Monitoring Shift Lead for its Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Singapore. You will lead a team to identify and respond to cyber security incidents, and improve defensive capabilities across the SOC.

A strong technical background, leadership skills, and knowledge of attack lifecycles are essential. Shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off, with 07:00–19:00 or 08:00–20:00 SGT shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating or administering a SIEM (Splunk/QRadar/LogRhythm).
• Strong knowledge of networks: TCP/IP, architectures, common protocols used by malware.
• Experience in security event analysis, triage, incident handling and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding attacker tools and techniques from direct experience.
• Develop and improve run books and use cases based on investigations.
• Experience in corporate cybersecurity environments.
• Previous full-time incident response or offensive security work.
• Ability to work with urgency while staying calm under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Security accreditations such as OSCP, GIAC, CCNA.
• SIEM operational competency certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to identify and respond to cyber security events.
• Triage security events and respond to incidents using a methodical approach.
• Operate a SIEM (Splunk/QRadar/LogRhythm) for investigations or dashboards.
• Use playbooks and knowledge to guide incident responses.
• Research threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities.
• Develop or improve run books and use cases for modern attacks.
• Stay updated on vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures.
• Escalate cyber security incidents when needed.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
