Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Manager-level senior advisor for its Attack Monitoring team within Security Operations. The role provides technical leadership, mentorship, and ownership of investigative activities across cyber security alerts and incidents.

You will partner with Incident Response teams, drive detection improvements, and develop playbooks and guides informed by threat intelligence and evolving attack techniques.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Security Operations Centre or similar.
• Proven end-to-end investigations across cyber security alerts.
• Experience coaching and developing technical teams.
• Track record of automation, innovation and process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of modern TTPs and incident response methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical escalation point for SOC alerts.
• Lead complex investigations with hands-on analysis.
• Serve as senior SME for Attack Monitoring analysts.
• Coach and develop analysts to strengthen capabilities.
• Assess incidents and determine escalation to Incident Response.
• Review alerts and investigations to improve detection fidelity and reduce false positives.
