Job summary

Nexstrom PTE. LTD. is a Singapore-based deep-tech company building 2D semiconductor wafers on production-ready tools. We seek a hands-on technician to own CVD process steps, monitor real-time parameters, and keep meticulous logs to ensure outputs meet customer specs.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in CVD or related thin-film processes, with a degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics. You’ll help grow our SOPs and operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's with hands-on deposition experience in thin-film or related fields.
• Experience in cleanroom or pilot-line environments preferred.
• Ability to take equipment issues from symptom to root cause and implement fixes.
• Proven track record of documenting data trends and process drift.

Responsibilities

• Own root-cause investigations when output drifts from spec.
• Operate and maintain our CVD system for 2D wafer growth.
• Monitor temperature, gas flow and pressure and catch deviations.
• Maintain detailed logs of runs, parameters, and equipment behavior.
• Support wafer qualification timelines to meet customer commitments.
