Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a teller to service corporate customers at our Tanjong Pagar branch, Asian Corporate Bank. Responsibilities include counter service, cash deposits/withdrawals, fund transfers, and passbook updates.

You will also handle FD placements, remittances, DDs, and cashier’s orders, with focus on accuracy and end-of-day balancing. 1–2 years’ remittance experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with at least 1–2 years’ remittance experience in Retail / Corporate Banking.
• Good communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to walk-in CORPORATE customers at the counter and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Perform teller transactions in accordance with Bank rules and regulations, including cash deposits and withdrawals, fund transfers, passbook updates, and cheque deposits.
• Process Fixed Deposit placements and FD interest payouts; perform due diligence checks for cash and cheque withdrawals.
• Ensure accuracy, complete authorization, and proper documentation of counter transactions; balance cash, currencies, and funding accounts at end of day.
• Handle remittance and issue Demand Drafts and Cashier’s Orders for customers and internal use.

Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service to walk-in CORPORATE customers at the counter and respond to any enquiries promptly.

• Perform teller transactions in accordance with Bank rules and regulations, including:
• - Cash deposits and cash withdrawals
• - Fund transfers between account holders
• - Passbook updating and replacement
• - SGD and USD cheque deposits
• - House cheque transfers

• Process Fixed Deposit (FD) placements and FD interest payouts via cash and cheque.
• Perform Due Diligence checks for cash and cheque withdrawals.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization of all counter transactions.
• Batch teller vouchers and input transactions accurately into the core banking system.
• Ensure teller cash, currencies, and funding accounts are fully balanced at end of day.
• Remittance, process issuance of Demand Drafts and Cashier’s Orders for customers and internal use.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 1 – 2 years’ relevant remittance experience in Retail / Corporate Banking
• Good communication abilities
