Job summary

Indian Bank in Singapore is seeking a temporary Retail Banking Front Office/Back Office staff to support daily branch operations. The role covers customer services, cash handling, account opening, KYC, remittance processing, and back-office support.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in retail banking, good communication, customer focus, and computer literacy. The position is office-based in Singapore with allowances and monthly pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Retail Banking or related area.
• Good communications skills.
• Customer oriented attitude.
• Basic Knowledge of KYC and AML/CFT.
• Strong Team Player and able to work independently.
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Front Office: Attend to walk-in customers for cash/cheque deposits and withdrawals; Remittance to India; Open accounts and CIF creation; Perform KYC; Process cheques/eGiro; Daily/Monthly vouching and filing; Assist Officers in CIF review.
• Back Office: Attend to phone calls; Process outward remittance applications and transactions; Process incoming funds; Emails handling; Fixed Deposit customer service and daily FD transactions; Prepare daily/monthly retail reports; Update registers; Assist officers in charge.

• Attending to Walk-In Customers for Cash/Cheque Deposits and Cash withdrawals
• Attending to Walk-In Customers for Remittance to India
• Attending to Savings Account / Current Account / Locker Customers
• Attending to Phone Calls
• Opening of Accounts
• Creating of Customer 'Customer Information File [CIF]'
• Performing Know Your Customer [KYC]'
• Processing of Clearing Cheques and eGiro
• Operating the CTS/eGiro System.
• Daily/ Monthly Vouching & Postings / Filing / Update of Relevant Registers.
• Assisting Officers in CIF Review and other Retail Related Work.
• Attend to other miscellaneous job assigned.

BackOffice

• Attending to Phone Calls
• Processing of Outward Remittance Applications
• Preparing of Outward Remittance Transactions
• Processing of Incoming Funds
• Sending out and retrieving of emails

Required Qualification and Experience

Salary -SGD 2,200/- per month plus allowances
