Job summary

KONG MENG SAN PHOR KARK SEE MONASTERY is seeking a customer service-oriented frontline staff member to assist daily counter operations and process payments accurately. You will coordinate with funeral service partners, respond to walk-in and phone inquiries, and maintain precise records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a minimum GCE O'level, at least 1 year frontline experience, and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin. Weekend/public holiday work is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide daily frontline customer services at the counter and process payments accurately.
• Coordinate with casket and undertaker service providers for funeral arrangements.
• Respond to telephone inquiries, walk-in customers and feedback with professionalism.
• Prepare labels and stickers for urn storage and Ji-Ling services.
• Assist in registration and administrative coordination of annual prayer events.
• Maintain accurate customer records and proper filing of documents.

Job description

Your Role:

• Provide daily frontline customer services, including handling daily counter operations and processing payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate and liaise with casket and undertaker service providers regarding funeral service arrangement.
• Respond professionally to telephone enquiries, walk-in customers, and feedback, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and process labels and stickers for urn storage and Ji-Ling services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
• Assist in the registration and administrative coordination of annual prayer events.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all documentation is properly completed and filed

What You Bring:

• Qualification: Min. GCE 'O' level
• Year(s) of Experience: At least 1 year of frontline working experience
• Language(s): Bilingual in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to communicate with both English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Required Knowledge/Skill(s): Communication and interpersonal skills, Customer service skills, Attention to details, Proficient in handling cash/payment transactions, Computer-literate, Coordination and organizational skills
• A team player with a positive attitude and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Able to work on weekend(s) and public holiday(s)
• Comfortable liaising and coordinating with bereavement care and funeral service partners
• Candidate with Dharma knowledge will be of an added advantage
