Job summary

ASIAPAC TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to manage delivery scheduling, dispatch coordination, and post-delivery verification.

The role focuses on ensuring timely deliveries, driver/vehicle compliance, and accurate documentation, with training provided for candidates with basic knowledge. Qualifications

• Basic SAP and shipping knowledge.
• ITE / GCE 'N'/O Diploma or equivalent background.
• No experience required; training will be provided.
• Able to use Microsoft Office.
• Work in Jurong area; Monday to Friday.
• Able to take on ad-hoc assignments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule delivery to meet Delivery Promise with proper order scheduling and stock monitoring.
• Administer dispatch: verify licensed drivers/transport and HSSE compliance; liaise with suppliers and 3rd party logistics for shipment planning.
• Confirm deliveries and resolve discrepancies; collect PODs and update in the system.

1. JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: LOGISTICS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Job Description & Requirements

1. Schedule Delivery:

• Ensure Delivery Promise is met by focuses on schedule development and provides follow up on the execution of order scheduling and monitors stock availability.

2. Administer Dispatch Services:

• Checks for appropriately licensed and maintained drivers and transport facilities according to HSSE policies.
• Key Interface with the Supply for diesel and lubricants Coordinators, Production Planner and 3rd party logistics service providers pertaining to shipment’s planning, scheduling, loading, fleet card management, diesel ordering and trucking operation.
• Checks documentation to ensure that all charges are captured and other information such as D.O, Invoice and Description are correct.
• Apply for the relevant permit and trade agreement exemptions required.

3. Confirms Delivery:

• To confirm that packed and bulk deliveries have been delivered as loaded and to resolve discrepancies. Receive PODs, check andconfirm in system.
