Job Overview

Responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling shipment bookings, coordinating with carriers, and supporting daily freight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer enquiries, shipment bookings, and data entry into the tracking system.
  • Provide timely updates on shipment status, space availability, and service options.
  • Resolve customer issues and coordinate special cargo requirements (AOG, DG, OOG, etc.).
  • Negotiate freight rates and cargo space with airlines/carriers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and explore new shipment opportunities.
  • Monitor daily reports to anticipate issues and provide proactive solutions.
  • Ensure accurate order entry, pricing, and follow up on credit or billing matters.
  • Maximize loading and shipping efficiency for customer orders.
  • Prepare monthly administrative reports and assist in cross-training activities.
  • Perform other operational or customer service tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, operations, or sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or air cargo is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office, online systems, and basic IT applications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage fast-paced operations.
