Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd invites a Customer Service Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment and vision systems at customer sites in Singapore. You will join a field-based team delivering on-site installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, strong troubleshooting, and solid communication skills. Travel to customer sites is expected, with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering as stated.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting semiconductor equipment.
• Strong knowledge of vision systems and machine vision components.
• Willingness to travel for onsite support.

• Assemble, install, set up, and commission semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and optical issues.
• Execute machine upgrades, calibration, and customer buy-off testing.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience supporting semiconductor equipment, high-precision/automated machine.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor machines, inspection systems, or vision system.
• Good understanding of machine vision components including cameras, lenses, and optical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with good communication ability and willingness to travel for onsite support.
