Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to develop long-term customer relationships and craft innovative supply chain solutions.

You will explore opportunities within existing customers, differentiate offerings, grow revenue, and lead renewal RFQ/tender responses. Strong cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills are essential for driving growth with global clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Sales.
• At least 5 years of experience in solutioning and/or business development in the 3PL industry.
• Experience managing and developing high level customer relationships in complex global and regional corporations.
• Experience selling and marketing supply chain solutions focusing on warehousing and distribution.
• Strong sales and change management experience with numeracy and verbal reasoning.
• Regional/local market knowledge and commercial understanding.
• Good negotiation skills and understanding of contract law.
• Customer-facing ability for local and international clients and requirement interpretation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

• Undertake sales presentations to customers for new initiatives and proposals.
• Distribute reports timely in alignment with customers.

YOUR ROLE

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Explore untapped opportunities within existing customers portfolio. Look at service offerings and potential integrated solutions for proposals

Ensure our offering to existing Customers is ‘unique’ and a differentiator vs the competition (sustainability, automation, quality, etc…)

To grow the revenue and profit of CL business by identifying and help securing growth (market share or new services).

Responsible for the management and handling of the renewal RFQ/tender response documents for existing customers portfolio

Undertake sales presentations to customers to present to new initiatives and proposals (Productivity, Quality, Sustainability, …)

Ensure reports are distributed timely, in alignment with customers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Sales
• At least 5 years of experience in solutioning and/or business development roles in the 3PL industry
• Experienced managing and developing high level customer relationships in complex global and regional multi-national corporations
• Experienced in selling & marketing supply chain solutions focusing on warehousing & distribution services
• Significant sales and change management experience supported by advanced conceptual and logistics skills, high levels of numerical and verbal reasoning.
• Regional and local market knowledge and commercial understanding;
• Good negotiation skills, with a grasp of the legal issues associated with contracts.
• Ability to be “customer-facing” for local and international clients and interpret their requirements, needs and planning.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
