Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to manage daily control tower operations, ensuring on-time delivery and proactive follow-up with suppliers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle shipment booking, event management, and issue escalation while supporting KPI reporting, supplier onboarding, and process governance across multiple transport modes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or related field is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in logistics or 3PL.
• Strong MS Office skills and good command of English.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

At CEVA Lead Logistics (CLL), we are providing customers with outstanding Visibility and Control across their entire Supply Chain. Our operations teams located across the globe in our Control Towers provide services around Supplier and Order Management, Transport Planning and Monitoring, as well as managing performance and freight cost.

Based in one of CLL’s regional Control Towers and reporting to the CLL Control Tower Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, this role oversees daily operations within the control tower to ensure on time delivery and timely follow ups with suppliers and other stakeholders. This includes shipment booking, event (milestone) management, as well as timely escalation of issues.

This role ensures operational services are executed in an effective and efficient manner across several transport service providers and different modes of transport, while maintaining a high level of quality and meeting performance and cost targets.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Day to day Operations:

• First point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers and other supply chain stakeholders during day-to-day business
• Handle customer’s orders including related documentation, and transport booking with carriers according to specified routing and service level
• Monitor transport execution to ensure adherence of all supply chain stakeholders to established work standards and work instructions

Request and Incident Management:

• Handling of customer requests and supply chain incidents / disruptions
• Inform / Highlight issues to supervisors and relevant supply chain stakeholders in a timely manner as they arise

Visibility and Event Management:

• Ensure tracking event updates (milestones) are provided on time and correctly by suppliers and carriers
• Follow up on missing events and investigate data inconsistencies

Support reporting and performance measurement:

• Provide input to Supervisors in the preparation of reporting, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews
• Support analysis of standard KPIs and reports and identify / suggest areas for improvement

Supplier Management:

• Support the on-boarding of new suppliers to ensure successful origin global order, event and SOP compliance.

Process Governance:

• Act in accordance with all relevant CLL SOP, Work Instructions and job specific procedures
• Support implementation of changes to processes or policies as determined by the process owners

Senior Operations Coordinator - all of the above, in addition:

• Act as back up for Supervisors in case of absence
• On-board, train and accompany new staff during their onboarding period Supporting Supervisors in work instructions updates/ revisions and best practice feedback
• Ongoing on-boarding and training of suppliers on SOP and systems usage

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Essential:

• Equivalent of a Diploma in Logistics, 3PL, Transportation or Supply Chain Management, related field or comparable work experience
• Minimum 1 year of working experience
• Fresh graduates with logistics or supply chain related educational background may be considered
• Strong computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• General understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts and logistics processes
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to get things done and a team player
• Highly dependable and reliable in ensuring priorities are met effectively, good time management skills
• Customer service oriented
• Willingness to occasionally support work schedules outside of standard business hours (evenings / weekends), e.g., in case of urgent or emergency shipment

Desirable:

• Diploma in in business administration or Supply Chain Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics or Commerce
• Experience in Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management
• Advanced knowledge of MS office products, Excel, PPT & Word
• Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems
• Multilingual candidates a plus
