Sonata Software is seeking a senior Customer Engineer (L400) with expert-level Exchange Server and Hybrid/Microsoft 365 skills to design, deploy, migrate, optimize and troubleshoot complex messaging environments for enterprise and government customers.

The role requires 10+ years in customer-facing roles, strong communication, and the ability to lead end-to-end migrations and hybrid deployments from legacy systems to Exchange Online.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing roles across systems architecture, administration, operations, IT consulting, and on-premises and cloud support for enterprise and/or government customers.
• BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture, design, deployment and optimization of on-premises, hybrid and Exchange environments.
• Plan and execute upgrades and migrations across Exchange versions (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and Exchange Server Subscription Edition) and to Exchange Online.
• Configure and operate Exchange Hybrid, including the Hybrid Configuration Wizard, Modern Hybrid and Classic Hybrid deployments.
• Design high availability and disaster recovery using DAGs, load balancing, namespaces and certificates.
• Deliver health checks, risk assessments, workshops and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
