Job summary

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch is seeking a seasoned relationship manager focused on custody services. You will be the main client contact, building strong relationships with both domestic and global custody clients and coordinating with internal stakeholders to onboard and manage accounts.

You will promote cross-selling of deposits, loans, and related financial products while handling credit initiation and ongoing risk monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5 years of client relationship experience in finance; custody knowledge is a plus.
• Familiar with custody settlements, clearing, and capital markets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and onboarding of new clients.
• Strong communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the clients' business objectives and challenges and creating strategic recommendations based off of this understanding. You will do so by building a strong relationship with our clients and analyzing our clients' data. Essentially, you will act as the main point of contact for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationship with new and existing custody clients. Be the main point of contact with client and internal stakeholders. Responsible for the daily management of both domestic and global custody clients, including new client acquisition and onboarding processes b fuylfilling custodian business KPI.
• Promote cross sales and business development and cooperation across various areas such as deposits and loans, and achieve sales KPIs consist of loan & deposit volume, overall operating revenue and asset under custody (AUC).
• Handle credit initiation and management for clients with financing needs, including but not limited to customer credit rating, credit line approval, post-loan management, and various risk monitoring tasks. Drive cross selling of a full range of financial products to institutional clients, including RMB clearing, credit facilities, financial markets, bonds, trade finance with main focus on custody services.
• Conduct industry research related to non-bank financial institutions, custody business.
• Manage client's expectations and propose appropriate strategic business solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a recognized university
• 5 years' of client relationship experience in the financial industry, with strong abilities in client relationship management, marketing. Knowledge of custody business will be a good advantage
• Good understanding on the expectations of both domestic and global financial institutions clients. Familiar with custody business like settlements and clearing, financial markets, capital markets, and risk management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients, especially onboarding new clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good written and verbal English and Chinese is a must so as to provide service to Chinese speaking customers or stakeholders
