Job summary

Launch Industries is seeking a hands-on CTO to lead the architecture and deployment of AI Agent systems for regulated, process-heavy industrial environments across our portfolio companies. You’ll own the technical roadmap end-to-end, from platform architecture through to on-the-ground client deployment.

In this senior role you will define technology strategy, architect multi-model AI platforms, drive digital twin initiatives, govern data and model outputs, and steer build-vs-buy decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software/AI engineering.
• 3+ years in CTO/Head of AI role.
• Proven AI deployment in regulated industries.
• Strong grasp of multi-model AI architecture.
• Excellent stakeholder communication with non-technical clients.

Responsibilities

• Own technology strategy and roadmap for the company.
• Architect and lead development of an AI Agent platform on live data.
• Design AI systems for regulated workflows and enterprise integrations.
• Lead technology transfer and scalable platform generalisation.
• Drive digital twin / process simulation initiatives.
• Own AI/data governance, ensuring auditable and trustworthy outputs.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions and manage budgets.
• Represent the company at industry events and with partners.
• Report on technology strategy, delivery risk, and resourcing to leadership.
