Maverick Derivatives in Singapore is seeking a junior trader on the Crypto Options desk. You will execute trades under supervision, learn to apply data-driven methods, and collaborate with senior traders to develop strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Experience tackling coding or ML projects from start to finish.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with fast decision making under pressure.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail.
• Clear communicator with collaborative approach.
• Availability for a 3-month training in our Amsterdam office before joining the team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades on our Crypto Options desk under supervision.
• Stay ahead of market changes, regulations, and industry developments.
• Support the trading desk with research, modelling, and automation projects.
• Over time, take ownership of your own trading decisions.
• Assist in designing, testing, and implementing trading strategies across markets.
