Job summary

DBS Bank's Global Financial Markets seeks a Cryptocurrency Trader to join the Digital Asset Trading team. You will trade crypto options on major assets and lead desk alpha, building the derivatives franchise while supporting day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in options trading with strong pricing, volatility, and risk management knowledge, plus hands-on Python or KDB experience. This role offers growth within a dynamic, expanding franchise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in options trading, preferably crypto.
• Deep understanding of option pricing, volatility surfaces, and risk management.
• Familiarity with crypto market structure, including perpetual futures, DEXs, and wallets.

Responsibilities

• Identify volatility and skew opportunities across maturities and instruments for crypto options.
• Design and implement trading strategies, including delta-hedging and calendar spreads.
• Monitor and manage portfolio risk including Greeks, tail risks, and implied vs realized volatilities.
• Collaborate with quant and tech teams to improve pricing models and backtesting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with sales to build franchise business and achieve revenue targets.
• Support structuring team in designing bespoke crypto-linked structured products and payoffs.
• Analyze market trends and blockchain data to drive informed trading decisions.
