Job summary

J&T Express Singapore is seeking a Cross Border Operations Coordinator responsible for managing daily tasks of Cross Border Operation Assistants, handling inbound/outbound shipments, customs, duties, COD, and permits, and serving as the main contact for inbound and return shipments.

You will monitor shipment status, liaise with clients, provide daily acceptance updates, and coordinate with operations, customer service, and fleet teams to ensure smooth parcel tracking and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate or diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Management or related fields.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in cross border operations, logistics, or shipping preferred.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, duties, and permit-related processes is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of WMS/CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assign daily tasks to Cross Border Operation Assistants.
• Handle inbound and outbound shipment processes, including customs clearance and duty requirements.
• Ensure accurate handling of COD collections and parcels requiring permits.
• Monitor and verify incoming shipment status, ensuring accuracy of inbound vs. output performance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Cross Border inbound and return shipments.
• Maintain close communication with clients and ensure timely responses.
• Provide clients with daily acceptance volume updates, highlighting discrepancies where applicable.
• Keep clients informed on parcels with unique statuses and manage damaged parcel cases with prompt updates.
