Job summary

Airwallex is seeking an Associate, Credit Risk Operations in Singapore to conduct credit risk reviews, monitor client portfolios, and support growth objectives while managing risk. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, and risk analysts to mitigate loss and improve processes.

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience in bad debt collections, credit underwriting, and financial statement analysis.
Strong communication skills with attention to detail and teamwork ability.
Proactive, curious, and able to operate under fast pace with urgency.
Comfort with complex data and analytics to derive insights; SQL preferred.
Knowledge of credit card industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assess clients’ credibility during onboarding and monitoring workflows by reviewing business information and financial statements.
Manage written-off portfolios, contact clients, and negotiate payment arrangements to maximize recovery.
Research account histories and provide tailored risk mitigation recommendations.
Deliver insights to support onboarding strategies and monitoring/collection workflows.
Identify emerging risks and escalate or resolve issues promptly.
Provide feedback on data, tools, and vendors for efficiency improvements and policy updates.
