Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a high-visibility Regulatory & Compliance strategist based in Singapore to shape global priorities and drive market expansion. You will redesign operating models and deploy AI automation across compliance workflows.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Regional Operations to scale regulatory infrastructure and translate complex strategy into executable roadmaps for executive teams.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of total professional experience, with 4+ years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
• Experience delivering strategic projects within financial services, global payments, fintech, or technology platforms.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous strategic questions into actionable roadmaps.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into executive insights.
• Superior communication and executive presence, with experience influencing C-suite stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of group-wide strategic projects, including new market expansion and licensing roadmaps.
• Architect modern operating models, governance structures, and global compliance frameworks.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to deploy AI-driven tools and automation across compliance workflows.
• Prepare board-level presentations and strategic business cases for senior leadership.
• Coordinate matrixed teams across Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, Finance and Operations to meet deadlines and budgets.
