Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst - Lending to monitor and optimize the performance of our business lending portfolio through data-driven analysis and risk strategy support. You will translate portfolio questions into analytical frameworks, monitor approaches, and provide actionable recommendations to improve credit quality and support sustainable growth.

You will analyze delinquency trends, identify emerging risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy alignment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in credit risk analytics, risk strategy, or portfolio analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, CS, or related field.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with large datasets.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the performance of existing business lending portfolios, including delinquency trends and credit quality metrics.
• Identify emerging risks and provide actionable insights to mitigate potential losses.
• Assess and optimize portfolio-level credit strategies in line with regional policies.
• Prepare portfolio reports, risk dashboards, and management summaries for leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations and Product teams to ensure consistent credit policy application.
• Participate in portfolio reviews, stress testing, and risk assessment exercises.
• Provide analytical support for regulatory reporting and internal governance.
