Job summary

Arts House Group (AHG) is seeking an experienced professional to join the Venue Programming team. The role will conceptualise, plan, develop and implement impactful programmes across AHG venues, spotlighting the cultural character of each space and activating tenants and partners.

Working with artists and schools, you will drive placemaking, build partnerships, engage audiences through diverse platforms, and manage budgets, timelines and logistics to ensure successful programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts and/or Social Sciences; concentration in Performing Arts/Visual Arts/Literature is a bonus.
• 3+ years for Assistant Manager, 5+ years for Manager, or 8+ years for Senior Manager in arts management or related fields.
• Fluent in English; mother-tongue language proficiency (Malay/Mandarin/Tamil) is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong written and spoken communication.
• Dynamic team player with organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and evenings when required.

Responsibilities

• Work as an integral member of AHG Venue Programming team.
• Conceptualise, plan, develop, manage and execute programmes across AHG venues.
• Identify and engage stakeholders and cultivate artist/tenant relationships.
• Engage audiences including communities, schools, beneficiaries and interest groups.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Centre Heads and Technical Production.
• Handle budgets, timelines, front-of-house and customer management; ensure compliance.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by Management.
