Job summary

ARKCLUB INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Chef to prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standards. You will plan daily food preparation, maintain taste and presentation, and ensure freshness and safety.

You will manage stock, assist with inventory, train junior staff and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations while helping develop new dishes and improve existing recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, food quality standards and presentation requirements.
• Ensure all food is prepared fresh, safely and in a timely manner.
• Plan and organise daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
• Ensure proper food storage, handling and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing recipes where required.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff when necessary.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the management.
