Job summary

Takasago International (Singapore) PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned fragrance creative professional to manage internal project aspects and interpret customer briefs in the Fine fragrance and Home/Air Care categories. You will coordinate with Perfumers, R&D, Marketing and CIMR to execute olfactive strategies that drive project success.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of fragrance creativity, knowledge of chemistry and aroma chemicals, and strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of fragrance creative experience in Home/Air Care category.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Perfumers, R&D, Applications Lab, Marketing, CIMR and Sales/ Sales Service to interpret customer briefs in fragrance development.
• Set up action plans with clear schedules and execute olfactive strategy to support project success.
• Guide and discuss with Perfumers during creative/modification process to align with project briefs.
• Evaluate and decide on commercially winning fragrances for projects.
• Maintain regional/global visibility and network with other Creative Centres to complete assignments.
• Utilize fragrance library effectively for assigned categories as starting point for briefs.
• Maintain an active fragrance library, identify gaps and develop fragrances from key product launches.
• Be aware of Asia Pacific market needs, trends and consumer preferences.
• Participate in interpreting consumer test results with CIMR.
• Join Affiliate Sales Team in customer visits when required.

Job Requirements:

• To manage all internal aspects of the projects (coordinate with Perfumers, R&D, Applications Lab, Marketing, CIMR and Sales/Sales Service) and interpret customer's briefs related to fragrance development in Fine fragrance category.
• Set up action plans for important briefs with clear schedules and execute olfactive strategy to support overall success of the projects assigned.
• Active involvement in guiding/discussing with Perfumers in the creative/modification process, developing a common communication platform with the Perfumers.
• Evaluate and decide on the selection of commercially winning fragrances.
• Maintain regional or global visibility, internally/externally and network with other Creative Centres leveraging on their capabilities, when necessary, to complete project assignments.
• Effective use of the fragrance library for the categories assigned as starting point for most briefs.
• Maintain an active and updated fragrance library - identify gaps and develop fragrances from interesting key product launches for creative interpretations.
• Market/product familiarity - awareness of the needs, trends and consumer preferences in the Asia Pacific region.
• Participate in the interpretation of consumer test results together with CIMR.
• Join the Affiliate Sales Team in customer visits, whenever required.
