Job Summary
Drive the next generation of adult learning the sector by leading the end-to-end design, digital transformation, and compliance of WSQ and non-WSQ courseware. This role is tailored for an agile, tech-forward learning developer who leverages AI tools and e-learning platforms to rapidly build scalable content. Working under tight timelines with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), regulatory bodies, and international partners, you will spearhead curriculum innovation while managing LMS operations and maintaining audit readiness.
We are now seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our growing training team in delivering quality training to improve the livelihoods of the Process Construction Maintenance workforce.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1.Traditional & Blended Curriculum Development
- Conduct full-lifecycle course design and content development—from concept, learning outcomes, and lesson plans to learner guides, facilitator guides, and assessment tools.
- Systematically review, update, and refresh existing WSQ and non-WSQ courseware to ensure technical accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry standards.
- Ensure all curriculum materials strictly comply with SSG, ITE, MOM/WSHC, and regulatory accreditation requirements.
2.AI-Driven Curriculum & Content Innovation
- Apply AI tools, rapid authoring software (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), and multimedia to design interactive digital, blended, and classroom courseware.
- Modernise existing curricula into bite-sized, engaging micro-learning assets, simulations, and potential AR/VR modules.
- Continuously scan educational technology trends to integrate modern learning science into ASPRI-IPI's training offerings.
3.Agile Project Execution & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work under tight deadlines to manage multiple course development pipelines simultaneously.
- Partner with SMEs, regulatory bodies (SSG, ITE, MOM),and internal teams (Training Operations, Marketing) to extract technical knowledge and convert it into compliant courseware.
- Collaborate with international partners (e.g., AMPP) to localise, map, and adapt global curricula into local framework packages.
4.LMS Architecture & Operations
- Configure, optimise, and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Lead content uploading, user path configuration, metadata tagging, and course library management for device-agnostic compatibility.
- Analyse learner usage data and system feedback to resolve technical issues and drive platform enhancements with IT/vendors.
5.Quality Assurance, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with WSQ, ITE, and MOM/WSHC accreditation standards.
- Maintain precise version control, content repositories, and documentation required for regulatory audits and grant claims.
- Collect and evaluate learner/trainer feedback to drive iterative courseware improvements.
Qualifications & Competencies
6.Education & Credentials:
- WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) or Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) is required.
- Must meet prevailing Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) course developer requirements (where applicable for WSH courses).
7.Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in WSQ/WSH curriculum design and LMS administration.
- Demonstrated track record of leveraging AI authoring tools and rapid e-learning software to meet aggressive project delivery timelines.
8.Technical Skills & Competencies:
- High proficiency with AI content generators, e-learning authoring tools, and modern LMS platforms.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to influence SMEs and cross-functional teams.
- Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 7 or equivalent, with excellent written communication skills.
