Job summary

DNV is seeking a Country Business Development Manager in Singapore to grow the Business Assurance unit through expanding key accounts and generating new opportunities in certification and training services. You will serve as a primary contact for major clients, develop strategies, and negotiate contracts to meet sales targets.

You will build a network of local partners, drive retention and recertification efforts, and represent DNV at events to strengthen market presence in SEA & Oceania.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ industry experience preferred.
• Proven track record in sales and business development.
• Strategic thinker with strong understanding of the certification market in Singapore.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing key accounts and acquiring new clients.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; dynamic, resilient, adaptable, and open to change.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and approach target companies, generating business opportunities aligned with DNV’s service portfolio.
• Build and nurture a local network of partners (consultants, channels).
• Negotiate and finalize business contracts to achieve individual sales goals.
• Represent DNV at local events, tradeshows, conferences, and exhibitions.

About The Role

Local Unit & Position Description:

Part of the Sales team of Business Assurance SEA & Oceania (certification and training), the Country Business Development Manager will report to the Area Sales Manager, SEA & Oceania.

Main Responsibilities
