Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Procurement/Costing professional to manage product costing, supplier sourcing, and procurement to boost profitability in an EMS/manufacturing setting.

You will evaluate suppliers, prepare cost analyses, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning and Sales to align with production needs and budgets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within an EMS/manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, mechanical parts, and manufacturing services.
• Knowledge of BOM costing and product cost analysis.
• Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
• Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Request and compare quotations (RFQs) to identify the best pricing and commercial terms.
• Prepare detailed cost analyses and product cost breakdowns to support pricing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize procurement costs.
• Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain supplier relationships and supplier performance records to ensure reliable supply.
• Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning activities according to production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company sourcing and purchasing policies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales teams to support business objectives.
