Job summary

ARTEMIS EXECUTIVE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Coordination Manager to oversee multi-disciplinary interfaces in civil, architectural and E&M works for major projects.

You will ensure alignment with client expectations, company objectives, and contractual obligations, while coordinating resources across teams. The role requires a degree in Electrical or mechanical engineering and 8+ years of experience managing Civil, Architectural and/or E&M works, preferably on transit or civil

• Oversee procurement resources for assigned projects.
• Apply contemporary construction practices to meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
• Oversee planning, programming, and completion schedules.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and major variations.
• Assist in construction management plan implementation, monitoring, and review.
• Monitor progress, quality, techniques, and report on performance and costs.

Education

Electrical or mechanical engineering degree from a recognised university

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of necessary resources for assigned projects.
• Apply contemporary practices in construction methodology to complete assigned works in compliance with client expectations, company objectives, and all contractual obligations.
• Oversee construction planning, programming, and completion schedules.
• Engagement of subcontractors, management of subcontractor's work to achieve outcomes, and all major subcontract variations.
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and review of a construction management plan.
• Monitor progress, ensure that work quality and techniques are of a high standard, and report regularly on project performance and cost against company objectives.
• Ensure correct supervisory levels, construction costs, schedule, and change management.
• Ensure that requirements and risk controls are considered in all construction planning and processes.
• Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community, and other external parties are developed and maintained.
• Perform all duties in accordance with CHEC policies, processes, systems, and procedures.
• The Coordination Manager shall take charge of all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural and System-Wide Contractors (SWCs) and be responsible to manage project coordinators relating to civil /structural, architectural and E&M.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or mechanical engineering from recognised university.
• At least 8 years experience in managing Civil, Architectural and/or E&M works of similar scale and complexity.
• Experienced in managing interfaces for the design and construction of transit projects; having a full understanding of the design and approval process as well as the BCA TOP process.
• Min 5-12 years of related experience on LTA - MRT or any Civil Infrastructure projects in Singapore
• Relevant coordination experience with Government Agencies
