Job summary

CHIU TENG CONSTRUCTION CO. PTE. LTD.

is seeking an experienced senior project supervisor for large-scale civil and structural works. The candidate will lead project teams, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory codes. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in civil/structural supervision, a PE-recognised degree, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant civil/structural supervision.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PE Board.
• LTA project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings, specifications, regulatory codes, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Good understanding of project management and controls.
• Good understanding of Authority submissions and approval.
• Ability to demonstrate and implement cost-savings measures.
• Ability to deal effectively with all consultants, construction teams, and relevant authorities.
• Ability to clearly and effectively express ideas, thoughts, and concepts verbally and in written form.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage the progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
• Manage operational costs to keep costs within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record-keeping in accordance with the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor the quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in the delivery of the project to meet the completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the supervision of civil and structural works, preferably in large-scale transit or infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board.
• Candidates with LTA project experience will be given preference.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings, specifications, regulatory codes, and industry standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant structural or coordination software.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
